The rain may be gone for now but there is still a chance for heavy rain in Twin Falls this afternoon. It is very possible that we could see another inch or more before drier weather on Thursday. The National Weather Service in Boise has issued a flood warning for urban areas and small streams in the Magic Valley.
If you are driving please give yourself extra time and avoid areas that are flooded. Twin Falls Police Department advises not to drive through areas that are flooded as it is difficult to determine how deep the water is and loss of control of your vehicle is possible.

Rock Creek Park is closed due to the collapse of a retaining wall and massive flooding in the park.
Twin Falls Tonight in downtown Twin Falls has been cancelled.
Police are urging everyone to stay off the canyon rim walking trails as some of the trails near Canyon Crest have washed away. Canyon Springs Road is closed down the grade where you access Twin Falls Municipal Golf Course.
Eastland Drive South near railroad tracks is completely underwater and is closed.
Cheney Drive near Walmart between Wendell and Washington Street North is closed.
Portions of Pole Line Road West is closed.
Eastbound Traffic between Washington and Grandview Drive is closed.
St. Luke's remains open and security guards are directing traffic as portions of the parking lot are flooded.
D&B Supply on Addison is closed due to flooding.
There are reports of water and sewer lines backing up in the neighborhood of Smith's on Addison Ave.
