Super Moon Tonight

If you look outside and think the moon looks a bit larger and brighter, well you aren't losing your mind. Another opportunity to view the "super moon" will exist tonight. The moon will be only be 221,000 miles away from the earth which is nearly 31,000 miles closer than normal!

If you don't get a chance to view the super moon tonight, there will be another opportunity to view the super moon in September. If you get pictures of tonight's super moon we would love to see them! Share them with us on our Facebook page or email them to webmaster@SouthernIdahoJournal.com.
